Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Technology Acquisition Center, located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, New Jersey 07724 intends to issue a solicitation under full and open competition for contractor support to perform research and analysis of open source Electronic Health Record products and code to facilitate VA's awareness and decision-making of open source software and product candidates for VA VistA Intake. The period of performance shall be one 12-month base period, with two 12-month option periods and an optional 60-day transition task, if exercised. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System code for this effort is 541512 with a corresponding small business size standard of $27.5M. The estimated date of solicitation release for this action is November 13, 2015 under solicitation number VA118-16-R-0841. A Sources Sought (VA118-15-N-0568) was previously posted to FBO in August 2015.
