- VENDOR QUESTION AND ANSWERS First, no matter who the vendor is, it is absolutely CRITICAL that the computer/software stated in the SOW is included. We have two TOC systems linked together (this is a requirement for us) and we're replacing one of the two units with this procurement. Due to the nature of how they tie together, the computer/software is a MUST so the existing system and the new system are properly linked. The existing computer setup is on its last leg which is why it is included in the procurement. That being said, in response to the questions here are the answers: Question 1: We have an autosampler that meets all the specifications listed; however, does not dock underneath the TOC unit. Instead it sits off to the right or can be placed on top of the unit. Is this acceptable? We can send you dimensions of the analyzer and autosampler for a more accurate determination if necessary. ANSWER: The available space is 16 inches wide x 26 inches deep (if the vendor can provide exact dimensions, I can verify the fit). Placing the autosampler on top of the TOC is ACCEPTABLE. Question 2: Our autosampler has a maximum capacity of 64 EPA 40 mL VOA vials and can be operated with or without caps. Would this be acceptable? Will vials be capped or uncapped? ANSWER: 64 EP 40 mL VOA vials is acceptable and vials are CAPPED. Question 3: If the autosampler mentioned in 'Question 2' is not acceptable, we also have an autosampler that has a maximum capacity of 72 EPA 40 mL VOA. However, this can only be operated with uncapped vials. It comes with a cover that protects vials not being analyzed until they are ready to be run. Would this be acceptable? ANSWER: NOT ACCEPTABLE
