Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue a sole source solicitation, number N00024-16-R-6232, for a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract modification to NAVSEA contract N00024-12-D-6216, to procure up to nine (9) additional AN/SLQ-25A/C systems. The AN/SLQ-25(A/C) is a legacy Surface Ship Torpedo Defense (SSTD) countermeasure system. AN/SLQ-25A/C Systems are installed on all US new construction ships for the CVN-78, DDG-51, DDG-1000, LPD-17, LHA-6, and TAO-X Classes. The delivery date of the AN/SLQ-25A/C system is eighteen (18) months after receipt of order (ARO). This requirement will be solicited sole source from with ArgonST, Smithfield, Pennsylvania which is the current producer of the AN/SLQ-25A/C system, pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2340(c)(1), only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. ArgonST is the only source with the requisite knowledge of the AN/SLQ-25A/C system design, hardware, support equipment, technical experience, and resources necessary to meet the Government's schedule and cost constraints without significant risk to the Navy. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. This notice is for information purposes only. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact ArgonST directly.
