Description

W9126G-16-R-0058, Project Labor Agreement (PLA), Mission Training Center Simulation Center at Fort Hood, TX The Corps of Engineers Fort Worth District is soliciting comments from the construction community addressing the potential use of Project Labor Agreements (PLAs) from large scale construction projects (exceeding $25 million). This market survey is being posted for Project/P2 Number: 330578, for the Construction of the Mission Training Center (MTC) Simulation Center, at Fort Hood, Killeen, TX. This will be a solicitation for a Construction contract for a single C- Type awarded contract for Fiscal Year 16. The Government plans to construct the Mission Training Center (MTC) Simulation Center design. The primary facilities will include the Mission Training Complex (MTC), Security Access Facility (SAF) and Tactical Operations Center pads. The Energy Monitoring and Control System (EMCS) connection and Intrusion Detection System (IDS) installation will be included. The MTC is a one story structure to support individual and collective digital training and battle staff training using constructive simulations with command, control, communications, computers and intelligence (C4I) interoperability. The main components of the MTC are organized into a "non-secure" administration area and a "secure" training area. A central Lobby, adjacent to the administration area, will function as the access checkpoint for employees, students, and visitors, and a separate Security Access Facility (SAF) is also included as part of the overall complex. Scope Summary: This project will construction the Simulation Center, Mission Training Center (MTC) design at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas. Site improvements will include but not be limited to clearing and grubbing, site grading, utility services, storm water management, security fencing, Tactical Operation Center (TOC) pads, concrete sidewalks, ramps, and stairs, dumpster pad, access roads, vehicular parking, landscaping and erosion and sediment control. There is no vertical demolition.
