- N00164-16-R-JQ18 - SOLE SOURCE - Precision Strike System Components - FSG 1680 - NAICS 336413 Anticipated Issue Date 23 DEC 2015 - Anticipated Closing Date 22 JAN 2016 - 2:00 PM EST This solicitation is being posted to Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/. FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Please feel free to use the FBO site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. The Government anticipates awarding a 5-year, Firm-Fixed Price, Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for Precision Strike System Components on a sole source basis to: Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC), 444 Salomon Circle, Sparks, Nevada 89434-9651, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". This is a follow-on procurement to the current United States Air Force contract FA8677-12-D-0089. This procurement is to provide Precision Strike System components, integration, test, training, and operations support for AC-130W, AC-130J, Harvest Hawk, and other Special Operations Forces platforms. This effort will include delivery of additional units of existing components, modifications to integrate new capability, adaptations of capability from one platform to other, spares, and support for test, training and operations. The products must be certified for operations by the respective platform airworthiness authority. The Government will not fund development, qualification and flight test, first article certification, and other non-recurring cost to obtain safety, airworthiness, first article certification, and production startup. The FOB point shall be FOB destination: NSWC Crane and/or other DOD Bases. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination. Request for proposal will not be made available through http://www.fbo.gov. The request for proposal will be provided to SNC through electronic mail. The proposed noncompetitive contract action is anticipated to be awarded under FAR part 15, contracting by negotiations. The anticipated contract action award date is 29 APR 2016. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
