- This Sources Sought Notice/Request for Information is being posted to satisfy the requirement under the Defense Acquisition Regulations Supplement PGI 206.302-1(d). The Sentinel Radios are the only equipment that meets the field strength measurements and sensitivity levels required for data collection and detections onboard the platform. In addition, the collection units must integrate and be fully compatible with existing units immediately upon installation. The Espy Corporation holds the proprietary rights to the Espy Wideband Radio Frequency collection units, components, and integrated software; therefore, they are the only company that can provide a compatible system and replacement parts for the existing systems. This is a sole source notice published for informational purposes only and not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit their technical capabilities, which, if received no later than 3:00 PM (EST) on 7 December 2015, shall be considered by NSWCDD. All responses must be submitted to the government point of contact at the email address shown below. Responses must be submitted in writing to the procurement specialist, Andrew Williams, via email at james.williams20@navy.mil no later than the date and time noted above. Email should reference Sources Sought N00178-16-R-2016 in the subject line. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
