- Requirements Package The US Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District, is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial purchase. This will be a Low Price Technically Acceptable procurement in accordance with FAR Part 12. Offerors will be evaluated in accordance with the solicitation. The offer deemed technically acceptable with the lowest price will be issued the purchase order. Mount Morris Dam (MMD) and Recreation Area is a major flood control project and public park located on the Genesee River near the Village of Mount Morris in Livingston County, New York. The dam is situated deep in the Genesee River Gorge at the northern end of Letchworth State Park and provides flood protection to downstream areas including the city of Rochester. Additional information about MMD can be found at: http://www.lrb.usace.army.mil/Missions/Recreation/MountMorrisDam.aspx The purpose of this project is to design and install a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) to extend cellular telecommunications connectivity within and around various locations at Mount Morris Dam. A Pre-Bid site visit is tentatively scheduled for December 3rd, 2015 at the William B. Hoyt II Visitor Center at Mount Morris Dam. This will be at 10:00 am (ET).The Park Manager for Mount Morris Dam can be contacted by calling: (585) 658-4790. The Bid Schedule and further details are provided in the accompanying documentation. This is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. System for Award Management (SAM): All interested contractors must be registered in the SAM prior to award www.sam.gov to be eligible for award of Government contracts. Downloads are available only through the Federal Business Opportunities FedBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov. No hardcopies, faxes, or emails will be available. It is the responsibility of the contractor to check the FBO website frequently to ensure they have all available information.
