- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed price delivery order for two Horizon Reference Set (HRS) units to support DDG122 and DDG123 with Curtis Wright-Indal Technologies through Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC). This procurement will be a delivery order issued under Basic Ordering Agreement N68335-15-G-0009. The estimated delivery for the order will be 26 September 2017. The NAICS code associated with this requirement is 336413. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. Curtis Wright-Indal Technologies is the only company that can meet the agency's need for two HRS sets for the DDG122 and DDG123 ships by the Required In-Yard Date (RIYD) of 26 October 2017. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
