Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items," as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular [2005-79]. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 325413, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The Department of Transfusion Medicine is seeking to purchase Terumo BCT BRAND NAME SUPPLIES. These kits are used with TerumoBCT cell separators/wash instruments located at the Clinical Center and are used to separate various blood/blood components from one another. This applies to monocytes, which can be withdrawn and made into dendritic cells or lymphocytes which are manufactured and re-infused into the patient.
