- JOFOC List of Parts The U.S. Broadcasting Board of Governors, (BBG), International Broadcasting Bureau (IBB), pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.67 and Subpart 13.5, intends to issue a Sole Source Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for spare parts for AEG S4005 Transmitter commercial items in accordance with format of Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The authority for acquiring quotes on a sole-source basis with Von Kampen and Associates is made under authority of 41 U.S. C. 253(c)(1) and Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, which provides for limiting competition from only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334220. This Solicitation Number BBG50-Q-16-T007-00003 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) that will result in a single award of a Firm Fixed Price Contract using FAR Part 12.6 and 13.5 (Contract by Commercial Items and SAP) procedures to provide spare parts for the AEG S4005 Transmitter at the Edward R Murrow Transmitting Station in Grimesland, NC. The government reserves the right to make an award on the initial quote without discussions of this procurement. This requirement will be a onetime award. The commercial items spare parts list will be attached to this solicitation. It consists of pages 1 through 4. The Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition will also be attached.
