Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Northport VA Medical Center, Northport, NY, is soliciting quotes under solicitation number VA243-16-Q-0116 for the following item for its Northport Campus: The vendor shall provide and install new stainless steel wire located on the exterior container shell, fasteners, and lubricant grease for the water level indicator device on the 300,000 gallon elevated water storage tank. The vendor shall exclude any work on interior wet container associated with water level indictor. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Small Businesses. The NAICS Code is 221310, Water Supply and Irrigation Systems. The size standard is $27.5 million. Questions pertaining to this solicitation must be sent by e-mail to: marshand.boone@va.gov no later than 10:00 am ET, December 15, 2015. The due date for proposals is December 17, 2015, by 12 PM ET to the above listed email address. Questions received after the specified date and time will not be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation using the evaluation method "Lowest Price Technically Acceptable." Prospective offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) website and complete representations and certifications at https://www.sam.gov.
