Description

HSCG41-16-Q-QW4609 The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to contract other than full and open competiton for Training for Advanced Mechanical and Electronic Courses for MTU Engine Model No. 20V400M93. MTU America Inc. 39525 MacKenzie Drive, Novi, MI 48377. The period of performance will be from award date to 30 September 2016. The synopsis is for MTU diesel engine model no. 20V400M93. Contractor will be required to conduct these trainings onsite at USCG's Training center in Yorktown, VA in order to train USCG technicians in the technical aspects and maintenance requirements of MTU's engine model no. 20V400M93. The U.S. Coast Guard intends to establish a single award Contract. The proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government will notify parties of the outcome of any proposal submitted in response. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested contractors who may wish to seek subcontracting should contact the above named company directly. A sources sought under number 21-16-416QW4609-QW4610 ws posted on 1 December 2015. This requirement will be awarded without further notice on approximately 30 December 2015.
