- 360 Degree Local Situational Awareness (360 LSA) System Sources possessing potential solutions are invited to submit documentation describing their capabilities, system concepts and level of maturity. Response to this RFI should be received no later than 30 calendar days from the date of this notice and should be submitted to Jeffrey Jones, jeffrey.s.jones32.civ@mail.mil at TARDEC; and carbon copy David Moody, david.a.moody30.civ@mail.mil at US Army, Communication Electronics Research Development and Engineering Center's (CERDEC) Night Vision and Electronic Sensor's Directorate (NVESD). The subject of the email message shall be: SCMM-Sensors RFI - Your Company's Name. All requests for further information must be in writing and via email; telephonic requests for additional information will not be honored. The documentation shall include comprehensive descriptions that address the following for all technologies proposed: a detailed discussion of potential sensor(s), processing hardware and software solutions; description of how this system would integrate within the vehicle and meet the objectives cited above; an estimation of system performance when installed in/on an M2 Bradley and operated in a tactically relevant environment to include (but not limited to) exposure to shock, vibration, dust, precipitation and extreme temperatures, and may include a summary of the offeror's relevant expertise, facilities and experience in military systems integration.
