- This Sources Sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a Solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. The information from this market research is for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 811213. The intent of this notice is determine the availability of qualified commercial sources technically capable of providing the below: Salient Characteristics: Provide 24x7 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays) maintenance with 4 hour on site response to system failures of the Motorola ASTRO25 7.13 SmartZone digital trunking system on Fort Gordon, Gillem Enclave and Fort Jackson to include the HARRIS Microwave equipment that supports Fort Gordon. Under this maintenance service, the contractor shall only be able to gain remote access to the Land Mobile Radio system when requested only by the NEC LMR Manager in accordance with the parameters in the approved authority to operate (ATO), with the ability to restore the system remotely for a base year and two option years. Contractor shall provide all qualified and experienced, personnel, material, tools, test equipment, and other items necessary to perform troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and all operational checks and adjustments required to accomplish this service. The following are the major components of the ASTRO25 7.13 SmartZone digital trunking system infrastructure: (1) Master Controller site, (2) Remote NM Clients, (1) Remote KMF Client, (9) Remote sites (48) GTR8000, (3) Dispatch sites (9) MCC7500 Consoles, (2) NICE Logging Recorders, (2) XTL5000 to send tones, (3) ASTRO SPECTRA Mutual Aid radios and HARRIS Microwave equipment: (8) Constellation Microwave Radio Assemblies, (5) Microwave Radio Power Supplies, (5) Andrew Dry-line Dehydrators. (1) Remote site (5) GTR8000 is located at Gillem Enclave in Forest Park, GA. (1) Remote NM Client, (1) Remote KMF Client, (3) remote sites (19) GTR8000, (1) Dispatch Site, (3) MCC7500 Consoles, (1) NICE Logging Recorder is located at Fort Jackson, SC. The remaining equipment is located at Fort Gordon, GA. Potential offerors having the skills, experience, professional qualifications, and capabilities necessary to perform the described requirement are invited to provide a capabilities statement via e-mail. The Capability statements shall not exceed ten (10) pages and must include the following: 1) Company name and Point of Contact information (address, telephone, e-mail, web-site, etc.); 2) DUNS number and CAGE code; 3) Small Business Size/Certification (to include 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, etc.); and 4) Familiarity and knowledge of the requirement. Responses are due no later than 0900 EST, 29 Dec 15 and shall be electronically submitted to patricia.a.early10@mail.mil All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Response is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests.
