- Description
- SPE4A7-16- R-1434 will be issued to establish a Definite Quantity Firm Fixed Price Contract, One-Time-Buy, for approximately 29 each of NSN 1560-01-175-4438, CANOPY, MOVABLE. This is used on the F-18 Aircraft. Inspection/Acceptance will be at Origin; FOB Destination. Source Approval Statement applies to this part. The approved sources for this material are listed below and it is expected that award will be made to one of those firms. Any firm which is not already approved to manufacture this material must submit a Source Approval Request, SAR. A Technical Data Package is available for help in creating the SAR Package. This procurement will not be delayed to wait for a SAR approval. Approved Sources: LLAMAS PLASTICS, CAGE 8P093 GKN AEROSPACE TRANSPARENCY, CAGE 86175 SIERRACIN CORP. CAGE 12035 A Contractor Production Lot Test is required. This is a Navy-Identified Critical Safety (CSI) item. The RFP will be available after January 6, 2016, on www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil
