- This is the annual synopsis of Repair BOA N00383-14-G-001D with Honeywell International, Inc., Defense and Space, Tempe AZ and serves as the pre-solicitation notice for all repair orders issued by NAVSUP WSS for the period from 30 Sep 2015 for period of one year for evaluation and repair of various components of the F/A-18, V-22, P-3, E2/C2, H-60, AV-8B and T-56 engine weapons systems. A representative sample of the types of items covered under this Annual Synopsis is as follows: NIIN 01-487-3403, Shaft Driven Compressor, P/N 2210180-6-1, estimated quantity 125 ea; NIIN 01-557-1867, Air Cycle Machine, P/N 2205080-4-1, estimated quantity 40 ea; NIIN 01-224-4882, Starter, P/N 3505412-5-1, estimated quantity 120 ea; NIIN 01-232-9009, Turbine, P/N 581890-4-2, estimated quantity 83 ea; NIIN 01-380-6511, Valve, P/N 3214394-7, estimated quantity 192 ea; NIIN 01-534-2182, 12 Ton Evap Unit, P/N 2204350-1-1, estimated quantity 20 ea; NIIN 01-464-8896, 15 Ton Evap Unit, P/N 2215530-3-1, estimated quantity 14 ea NIIN 99-096-2564, Refrigeration Unit, P/N 1655D000-003, estimated quantity 28 ea A complete list of potential repairable items for which orders may be placed under this NAVSUP WSS BOA can be obtained upon request from the listed point of contact. Honeywell is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of these requirements and is the only known source to possess full repair capability. Complete data, drawings and the rights to same are not available from the Government. Therefore, the above-cited items are sole source to Honeywell. Even though the items are sole source to Honeywell, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The items require Government source approval prior to contract award, as the items are flight critical and/or the technical data available has not been determined adequate to support repair via full and open competition. Only the sources previously approved by the Government will be solicited. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source, you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair. This brochure identifies technical data required to be submitted based on your company ™s experience in repair of the same or similar items. This brochure can be obtained at https://www.navsup.navy.mil.navsup/ourteam/navicp/business_opps, If your request for source approval is currently being evaluated at NAVSUP WSS, submit with your offer a copy of the cover letter that forwarded your request for source approval. Offers received which fail to provide all data required by the Source Approval Brochure or document previous submission of all data required by the Source Approval Brochure will not be considered for award under this solicitation. Please note, if evaluation of a source approval request submitted hereunder cannot be processed in time and/or approval requirements preclude the ability to obtain the item in time to meet Government requirements, award of the requirement may continue based upon Fleet support needs.
