Description

Detail image of window Sources sought. This is a request for information for market research and acquisition planning purposes only. This is not a solicitation or pre-solicitation notice, and no contract award will result from responses to this notice. However, the information gained from this sources sought notice will be used to plan the aquisition, including determining whether to set the requirement aside under various socio-economic programs. The General Services Administration (GSA), Public Building Service (PBS), Region 3, is planning a requirement to repaint the exerior wooden window frames of the historic US Custom House in center city Philadelphia, PA. Photographs of the building exterior are available at the link provided below. Information is requested regarding technical capabilities and small business status. Specifically, please provide information indicating: 1.Experience with painting historical structures; 2. Capability to paint exterior multistoried structures without scaffolding by using alternate methods such as gondolas or rope rappelling. 3. Additionally, please include your location and cage code. 4. Finally, please indicate buisiness size and socioeconomic program, including HUBZone, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), or Women Owned Small Business (WOSB). Please limit the response to five pages. Information may be provided electronically either by email or by using FBO's interested offeror function. Again, this is not a solicitation, RFP, or RFQ. A requirement/scope of work (SOW) does not yet exist. The information requested will be used for planning purposes only.
