- Description
- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Drum is conducting market research to determine the extent of sources capable of performing as a prime contractor under a Single Award, Fixed Price, Requirements contract. The Government will use responses from this Sources Sought Notice to make an appropriate acquisition decision about soliciting this requirement. This is neither a solicitation announcement, nor a Request for Proposals (RFP) or Invitation for Bids (IFB), and does not obligate the Government to any contract award. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice are for PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified businesses relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 238160, Roofing Contractors. The small business size standard is $15M. The scope of work under this acquisition will include, but not be limited to the following: furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, materials, and perform all operations in connection with the repair and replacement of existing roofs (standing seam metal, asphalt shingles, and Ethylene-Propylene-Diene-Monomer elastomeric membrane roof systems) on various building structures located on Fort Drum. The work will possibly entail all aspects of a new roofing system to include: ridge vent, fascia, eaves, soffit, sheathing, insulation, water barriers, purlins, flashing, nailers, mansard knuckles, mechanical ventilation piping, and ventilators. These building structures will include warehouses, administrative and operation buildings, shops, barracks, mess halls, and other miscellaneous structures. Buildings may be occupied during the progress of the contract. When new work adjoins, connects or abuts to existing work or facilities, the existing work or facilities shall be altered as required and the connections made in an approved, workmanlike and professional manner. Responses are limited to 20 pages and should include the following: -Small Business status under NAICS Code 238160, for example: 8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned. -Bonding Limits -DUNS Number -CAGE Code -Registered in System for Award Management (SAM) The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred by respondents regarding any responses to this notice. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice shall be submitted to the POC below, via email (PDF or MS Word Format), no later than Friday, January 15, 2016, 4:00 pm EST.
