- The Bureau of ATF intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Panalytical, Inc. of Westborough, MA for preventive maintenance repair of its x-ray diffractometer located in ATF's Laboratory in Atlanta, GA. The sole source determination is based on Panalytical being the only eligible company that can provide maintenance on the equipment within the confines of the expeditious nature of the needs of the agency without resulting in loss of warranty coverage. PANalytical is the only company certified to provide support, maintenance and upgrade services to ensure that the instrumentation, sampling accessories and software will continue to perform according to original manufacturing specifications, and only their repairmen are authorized to work on those instruments.
