- NOAA/The National Marine Fisheries Service, Northeast Fisheries Science Center, has a requirement for pressure washing to remove algae from the interior surfaces of a 17,000 gallon outdoor salt-water habitat that houses marine animals (specifically harbor seals) on exhibit at the facility. This is a 100% Total Small Business Set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the acquisition is 561790 - Other Services to Buildings and Dwellings. The small business size standard is $7.5 Million.. The Government will solicit and award this contract using simplified acquisition procedures, in accordance with FAR subpart 13.0. It is the Government's intention to issue a single firm-fixed price purchase order on an "all or none" basis for all items. The Award will be made to the quoter whose quote meets all of the specifications and solicitation requirements. The anticipated award date is January7 27, 2016. Hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor FEDBIZOPPS for the release of the RFQ, Statement of Work, and all subsequent amendments. The RFQ documents and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-85, effective December 4, 2015. The solicitation will be available for download via the electronic data interchange at FedBizOpps, www.fedbizopps.gov, on or about January 27, 2016. It is the responsibility of the quoter to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database, http://www.sam.gov/. Registration must be complete prior to award. All responsible small businesses may submit an offer, which will be considered.
