Description

Solicitation - BEP-RFQ-16-0719 Statement of Work - BEP-RFQ-16-0719 The Bureau of Engraving & Printing (BEP) is a component of the Department of the Treasury that designs, engraves, and prints U.S. banknote currency and other U.S. security products. Banknote currency manufacturing occurs at BEP's Office of Eastern Currency Facility (DCF) located in Washington, DC and Office of Currency Manufacturing located in Fort Worth, TX (WCF). BEP's primary customer is the Federal Reserve Board (FRB). This is a request for quote to provide for the procurement and installation of a Pallet X-Ray Machine for the Western Currency Facility (WCF). This procurement shall be conducted in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13. The Bureau and Engraving and Printing intends to award a firm fixed priced contract; a single award will be made from this announcement. All questions or requests for clarifications must be submitted in writing via email to Millie Cortes, Contracting Officer no later than 12:00 PM Eastern Time, Thursday, 28 January 2016. Offeror shall submit a response to this RFQ via email to milagros.cortes@bep.gov and glady.wilks@bep.gov by no later than 12:00 pm EST, on Monday, 01 February 2016.
