- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) located in Bethesda, MD has a requirement for a Ship Incinerator System. This is a Notice of Intent to procure a unit. The vendor shall produce and deliver a prototype Shipboard Incinerator for U.S. Navy test and experimentation. The North American industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333994 with a size standard of 500 employees. Additional specifications and information will be in the RFP N00167-16-R-0011. The proposed contract is Unrestricted. The acquisition of this non-commercial item(s) will be processed in accordance with FAR Parts 15. The solicitation will be posted within the next 30 days. All questions concerning this solicitation will be directed via email to Egbert.Goodman@Navy.mil In order to be considered for award, offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirement can be obtained via Internet at http://www.sam.gov or by calling the Service Desk at 866-606-8220. Quotes received from offerors not registered in the SAM may not be considered. The Government intends to award a single Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Contract to the offeror representing the best value to the Government based on the evaluation factors listed in the RFP. The Government reserves the right to utilize technical, i.e., trade magazines and customer reviews/references as part of the technical evaluation.
