Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. SYNOPSIS: The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office, on the behalf of the Kernersville VA Health Care Center has a need for Altus Laptop Carts. This is a brand name or equal requirement; brand name and manufacturer is Altus Industries. This procurement is for new equipment only; no remanufactured or "gray market" items. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. All offerors must be authorized distributors of the equipment. SOLICITATION: See attached solicitation VA246-16-Q-0185. This solicitation has been set-aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSB). Offeror must be registered on SAM and VetBiz websites. Quotations shall include proposed unit prices, the proposed extended prices, any prompt payment discount terms, any shipping charges, company name, and point of contact, address, phone number, tax identification number, and DUNS number. If quoting "or Equal" equipment, all salient characteristics must be addressed. These are listed in Section D of the attached solicitation. The Government shall consider quotes received by 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time, January 15, 2016. Quotes are to be e-mailed to dori.dabbs2@va.gov.
