- Solicitation Number: R16PS00237 - Submersible PIT Scanning Units Amendment No. 0001 - Purpose of this amendment is to provide a closing date to this special notice of January 28, 2016 at 4:00 PM, PST. This solicitation is being advertised as a noncompetitive sole source solicitation. As provided under FAR 6.302-1, this project will be solicited on a noncompetitive basis as "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements." Project Description: The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Lower Colorado Region has a non-commercial requirement to purchase twenty-five (25) Submersible PIT Scanning Units. Reclamation intends to award, on a sole source basis, a purchase order to Marsh & Associates, LLC. Marsh & Associates, LLC is the only known company that is able to meet the required specifications of the Government due to its customary design. Additionally, this unit is a modular design, which allows for components to be interchanged at any time with existing equipment. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price Purchase Order be awarded no later than February 12, 2016. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334511 and the size standard is 750 employees. The contract award information will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website (FBO) at (www.fbo.gov).
