- Sources Sought W912ES-16-SS-0008 Class code: 3895; Miscellaneous Construction Equipment. NAICS: 333120; Construction Machinery Manufacturing with a size standard of 750 employees. SIC: 3531; Construction Machinery and Equipment. Subject: Sources Sought: Dredge Cutter Teeth Set-Aside code: NA Response Date (archive date): 1/22/2016 Description: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), St. Paul, Minnesota District is seeking interested sources for providing cutter teeth for the dredge Goetz. The cutter teeth will be delivered to the Corps service base in Fountain City WI. Due to the need for patented parts, the Corps intends to award a sole source firm-fixed-price requirements contract to Vosta Inc who manufactured the SC10 cutter head on the dredge. The contractor will supply the following products: All supplied parts shall be compatible with the Vosta SC10 Cutterhead. Leg adapter Vosta Part number SC10.30 Wide chisel teeth Vosta Part number SC10.01 B-locks Vosta Part number SC10.51 The above items make up the wear teeth on the Dredge Goetz cutter head. The current cutter system is the SC10 cutter head manufactured by Vosta. Orders shall be delivered NLT 26 days after receipt of order. Period of Performance for the Base contract is one year from the date of contract award. The period of performance for each exercised option will be for one year. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 333120; Construction Machinery Manufacturing with a size standard of 750 employees. Information submitted will be used in determining an acquisition strategy. It is your responsibility to provide adequate detailed information for the Government to determine, without doubt, that your firm is capable of providing the required products. In order for your response to this sources sought to be considered, you must provide all of the following: 1) A capability statement expressing your firm's interest in this requirement, describing your company and its capability to provide the products in a timely fashion. Include a statement detailing any special qualifications and certifications, applicable to the scope of this project, held by your firm and/or in-house personnel. 2) A statement of your firm's business size and type with regards to the NAICS code listed above. If your firm falls into one of the sub-category small businesses, e.g. HUBZone or Service Disabled Veteran Owned, please provide that information as well. 3) CAGE Code and DUNS number (for your firm and any potential subcontractors or partners).
