Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 16 (NCO 16) intends to issue and award task order contract modification (V797P-7366A, VA256-13-F-0002, P000010) to Mission Search International, Inc., 2203 North Lois Avenue, Suite 1225, Tampa, Florida 33607, for Medical Physicist Services. It has been determined that in the interest of economy and efficiency, the new work is logical follow-on to an original FSS order the original competed order was placed in accordance with applicable FSS ordering procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 8.405-6 (a)(1)(i)(c). Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center located in Houston, Texas (MEDVAMC) is in the process of hiring on VA staff Medical Physicists in the next two (2) to six (6) months. Pending the hiring of Medical Physicist to VA staff, this task order modification will be awarded to continue the level of quality of VA's critical mission in providing support to Veteran patients. The Government intends to do a modification from this source through an existing task order contract that was previously competed as it logical follow-on and in the interest of economy and efficiency. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES/PROPOSALS AND NO SOLICIATION IS AVAILABLE. Telephone request will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of quotes or offers received in response to this notice. All responsible sources may identify their interest to meet this requirement to Christopher Vu, Contracting Officer, by 9:00 AM Central Time, Friday, January 29, 2016. Additionally, any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the government. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. Interested parties may submit information for consideration by the government to: christopher.vu2@va.gov.
