- Description
- The Army Corps of Engineers Information Technology (ACE-IT) program intends to make a single award, task order contract (SATOC) to a firm with the capability to provide radio support and services (i.e. surge services) associated with United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) radio systems. USACE customers have numerous repair requirements for High Frequency (HF), Very High Frequency (VHF), Ultra High Frequency (UHF), and maritime handheld, mobile, and base station radio communications systems, equipment, and accessories. Individual projects may include planning, site survey, design, purchasing new equipment, installation, programming and preventative maintenance services as required for each project, at all USACE Sites. The individual surge projects will be within a broad range of size and scope. Surges services will be required at various locations and facilities including fixed buildings, floating plants, temporary field structures, alternate work sites, deployment locations, or other sites. These requirements encompass unclassified information sent over radio transmission systems. This is the main ARSS acquisition. At this time, the government anticipates that the contract will have one 12-month base period and four optional 12-month periods for a total POP of five years (assuming all options are exercised). This is not a formal solicitation or request for quote. This synopsis of intent is to give notice of the Government's intent to issue the ARSS solicitation. Contractors who can provide ACE-IT with radio services, in accordance with the synopsis listed above, are invited to electronically submit an affirmative, written response indicating a bona fide ability to meet this specific requirement. Responses to this notice will be used to determine the availability of this type of service. The solicitation, once available, will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website. At this time, the government anticipates that the solicitation will be posted on Wednesday, 3 February 2016. Instructions for submitting a formal response to the ARSS solicitation will be included within the solicitation itself. All responsible sources may respond and all responses will be considered by the agency. Responses should be furnished electronically to the contacts listed below not later than 3:00 P.M. CST, Wednesday, 3 February 2016. Contract Specialist: Mr. Andy Cameron Email: Andrew.E.Cameron@usace.army.mil Fax: (256) 895-1147 Contracting Officer: Ms. Jennifer L.
