- Description
- The proposed effort is only available from AAI Corporation, dba Textron Systems, 124 Industry Ln., Hunt Valley, MD 21030-3342 under the authority of Other than Full and Open Competition, 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR subpart 6.302-1(a)(2). Only One or a Limited Number of Responsible Sources and no Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. It is anticipated that the award will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. Additionally, this contract will be comprised of Firm Fixed Price Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) for hardware buys and Cost Plus Fixed Fee CLINS for Engineering and Technical Services. Anticipate award of a base and two Options. The estimated base Period of Performance will be 12 months after contract award. Option 1 is expected to commence 24 months after contract award and Option 2 is expected to commence 36 months after contract award. This proposed contractual action is subject to funding availability. This procurement will be in support of the Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) One System Remote Video Terminal (OSRVT). The OSRVT program components consist of the OSRVT system, Mobile Directional Antenna System, Remote Operated Video Enhanced Receiver and all associated field and test support equipment. All responsible sources may submit a quote to the email address in this notice. All submissions must be received by 5 February 2016. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement or submitting a proposal. Hoever, all proposals received by the response date will be cosidered by the Government. A determination by the Government to not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
