- MARKET RESEARCH - US COURTS 5TH FLOOR NORTH CHAMBERS RENOVATIONS, BURLINGTON FEDERAL BUILDING, BURLINGTON, VT DUE BY 2:00 PM ON JANUARY 26, 2016 THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or a request for proposal and no contract will be awarded from this notice. No solicitation or specifications are available at this time. When and if a solicitation is issued, it will be issued under a different solicitation number at a later time. The General Services Administration (GSA) New England is seeking HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVO), 8(a) and all other Small Businesses capable of General Construction capabilities to perform the requirement as follows: The US Courts will be renovating existing Chambers on the North of the 5th floor, Burlington Federal Building. The project will consist of renovating the Judges office of the Suite, approximately 1200sf. Work will include: • Demolition of approximately 50' of wall, performed after hours. • Removal of all Millwork in space • Removal of all window sill / Heater covers in space • Replacement of doors, ceiling, carpet, and finishes throughout • Construction of new panelized window sills and heater enclosures • Construction of a new shelving unit, approximately 16' in length • Construction of new millwork throughout, to match new building standard • Minor adjustments and additions to electrical, cabling, security, and lighting • Adjustments of the HVAC to replace equipment and properly balance to fit new space layout • Relocation of staff to temporary space during construction and returning to space upon completion. • Relocation of any and all equipment and furnishings to perform the work. Interested firms should provide sufficient information to allow an informed evaluation and decision to ascertain if there is enough competition to solicit this requirement as either an SDVO or HUBZone or 8(a) Small Business Set-aside. All interested Small Business firms should respond to this notice. The estimated cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The NAICS code for this service is 236220. The Small Business Size standard is $36.5 MILLION. Please respond via email to the following questions by 2:00PM on January 26, 2016. Failure to answer any of these questions may result in your firm not being considered as part of this market research. 1. Identify past experience which demonstrates that your firm is qualified to perform this type of work. 2. If this procurement is set aside, will your firm submit an offer? 3. Please articulate how you firm will provide a fair market price for this project given the location of the work. Submitted documentation will be utilized solely for the purpose of determining the potential capabilities of the respondent firms. This Sources Sought notice is for the purpose of determining the availability of small business contractors and not a request for competitive proposals. A Request for Proposal for this requirement will be issued at a later date under a different solicitation number.
