- Medicare rates will be based on Frederick, Shenandoah, Clark, Page, Rappahanock, Rockingham, Warren, or Facquier counties Virginia. Base Year: Date of Award-02/29/2017 Vendor will invoice at the rates included in the "MEDICARE Pricing Table" Option Year 1: 03/01/2017-02/28/2018 Option year rates will be the current Medicare RUG rates in effect at the time the option year is exercised. Option Year rates will be included in the modification documentation issued by the Government. Option Year 2: 03/01/2018-02/28/2019 Option year rates will be the current Medicare RUG rates in effect at the time the option year is exercised. Option Year rates will be included in the modification documentation issued by the Government. Option Year 3: 03/01/2019-02/28/2020 Option year rates will be the current Medicare RUG rates in effect at the time the option year is exercised. Option Year rates will be included in the modification documentation issued by the Government. Option Year 4: 03/01/2020-02/28/2021 Option year rates will be the current Medicare RUG rates in effect at the time the option year is exercised. Option Year rates will be included in the modification documentation issued by the Government. Multi-Award Community Nursing Home The Department of Veterans (VA), Martinsburg, WV anticipates awarding a multiple award for Community Nursing Home services for beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans affairs Medical Center. Nursing Homes in the CNH program shall ensure that care meets the health needs and promotes the maximum well-being of VA patients. Nursing home care will be furnished to ensure the total medical, nursing and psychosocial needs of VA beneficiaries. Full attention shall be given to motivating and education patients to achieve and maintain independence in the activities of daily living.
