- COMMANDER, NAVY REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER will be hosting a NAVSEA Ship Repair Prime Contractors' Meeting in Newport News, VA, on February 12th from 8AM-4PM. The purpose of this industry day is to allow current holders of prime contracts for Navy ship repair the opportunity to discuss business matters relating to the administration and execution of those contracts and to interact with the Government on the state of the current Navy business practices and processes, providing feedback and making suggestions on an individual basis. The event will take place at the VASCIC building in Newport News, VA. Please see attachments to this announcement for directions and site access instructions. Given the tight schedule to address the planned topics, and to ensure continuing discussions with minimum interruptions, food will be available at the event at a cost of $20 per person, which will include breakfast, lunch and all-day beverage service.
