This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the VA Medical Center, Syracuse, New York will be posting a solicitation on or about February 11th, 2016 for the Rome Maintenance Garage Roof Replacement and Masonry Restoration, Project No. 528A7-14-711. The project includes the following scope items: replacement of the existing roofing membrane and insulation, correct the masonry deficiencies around the building, and to correct other parapet and facade related problems associated with the building. The existing building is constructed of three main areas: the Southern Bays, the Northern Bays, and the Maintenance Canopy. The Contractor shall perform any additional work as noted on the drawings and/or in the specifications. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 236220. The small business standard is $36.5 M. The cost range is $100,000 to $250,000. Information regarding the one and only site visit scheduled will be stated in the Solicitation. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with the bid. Performance and Payment bonds will be required.
