- This is a Sources Sought announcement seeking responses in order to determine availability of sources for the Editor Services. This does not constitute a notification for a specific requirement and is for informational purposes only to determine sources and the ability to set-aside any future requirements by the Small Business Administration. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION, IF A SOLICITATION IS ISSUED IT WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT A LATER DATE, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. THIS NOTICE IS APPLICABLE TO SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS ONLY. HOWEVER, THE GOVERNMENT WILL CONSIDER ALL RESPONSES SUBMITTED. The designated NAICS Code is 541990 with a size standard of $15.0M. The services being sought are for editor services located at the SBA site in Washington, DC for the SBA's Office of Performance Management. The U.S. SBA is seeking editor services on several plans and reports. Specifically, this includes the Strategic Plan, Congressional Budget Justification, Annual Performance Report, Agency Financial Report, Summary of Performance and Financial Information. Skill Sets Sought After: - Review complex plans and reports, ensure grammatical and editorial consistency with SBA writing manual - Maintain controls over numerous documents to ensure recors are maintained - Receive, incorporate, and track edits to documents Additional Details: - Work needs to be done "in-house" at SBA's location in Washington, DC. Security/Background clearance possibly required. Documentation of technical expertise and capability must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine whether your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for any future acquisition. It is imperative that business concerns responding to this sources sought articulate their capabilities clearly and adequately. Your response shall include the following information: 1. SBA Small Business category/preference (i.e., 8(a), HUBZONE, WOSB, Veteran Owned, Small Disadvantaged Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, etc.), 2. DUNS number 3. Point of Contact for your firm 4. Please identify if your company offers this requirement through the General Services Administration (GSA Advantage) and the GSA Schedule number.
