- This is a Notice of Proposed Contract Action; this document does NOT constitute a Request for Quotation, Request for Proposal, Invitation to Bid, or a commitment, implied or otherwise, that AFTC/PZRA will take procurement action in this matter. The Government reserves the right to reject in whole or in part any industry input as a result of this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow-up information requests. The purpose of this notice is to notify industry of the United States Air Force intent of contract action and possibly gain knowledge of other potentially qualified sources and their size classifications. The Government also recognizes that proprietary data may be a part of this effort, and cautions that such data be clearly marked "restricted" or "proprietary" data, and present it as an addendum to the non-restricted/non-proprietary information. Please do not request a copy of a solicitation as one does not exist. This notice is for a proposed contract, IAW FAR 5.201(b)(1), for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source IAW 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Edwards AFB, CA intends to award a sole-source Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order to McClean Anderson, 300 Ross Ave, Schofield, WI. 54476. The NAICS code is 333318. Items specified are desired, suitable substitutes will be accepted, and evaluated technically, based on needs and equivalency to the requirements of the requesting activity, Air Force Research Laboratory, RQ-West Directorate. Requirements: CLIN # Description Quantity CLIN 0001 Cantilevered roller tooling for 1" wide material to mount to J2743 - Bronze Filled Teflon 1 CLIN 0002 Non cantilevered roller tooling for 1" wide material to mount to J2743 - Glass Filled Teflon 1 CLIN 0003 Parts to extend filament winder J2743FW horizontal, carriage bed axis from a 2M to a 4M bed 1 CLIN 0004 2-Technicans - onsite installation of bed section 1 CLIN 0005 2-Axis Flexwind Control Retrofit to included, operator interface, computer, software, motion controller, safety light tower, hardware to integrate, and an adapter to operate console and attached to existing cabinet. 1 The Government is requesting that interested concerns feeling they can fully support this requirement furnish the following information: (a) Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, and e-mail address. (b) All information furnished shall be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow the government technical representative to evaluate and determine if it can meet the requirement. A determination by the Air Force not to open the requirement, based on response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Air Force.
