Description

SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT: Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, University Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15240 is seeking to obtain sources to provide transportation of organs (kidneys and livers) from deceased organ donors for purposes of transplantation to veteran patients. These services are for deceased donor organ management, recovery, and delivery. This procedure must be in accordance with the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) regulations for allocation of kidneys and livers. Estimated period of performance is April 1, 2016 through September, 30, 2020. The Department of Veterans Affairs is contemplating indefinite delivery contract for up to five years in duration for these Services. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 621991 and the small business size standard is $32.5 million. THE PURPOSE OF THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIAL QUALIFIED VENDORS ABLE TO PROVIDE THIS REQUIREMENT RELATIVE TO NAICS CODE. RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS WILL BE USED BY THE GOVERNMENT TO MAKE APPROPRIATE ACQUISITION DECISIONS, SEE SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS BELOW.
