Description
Sole Source Justification & Approval Specifications (Heidelberg Spectralis OCT2 upgrade) Upgrade of existing Heidelberg Spectralis system to a new model Multi-Color HRA+OCT system. The new model will expand fundus and OCT capacity and enable much faster image acquisition and large noise reduction. The SPECTRALISHRA+OCT is a unique diagnostic imaging device used to examine the structures of the eye. It combines two technologies, confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscopy (cSLO) and spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT). It is the only Spectral-Domain OCT imaging system to incorporate all the essential features listed below. Active Eye Tracking: Actively follows the patient's eye during the scan, minimizing motion artifact and allowing targeted OCT scan placement. AutoRescan TM : A baseline image is selected, and the follow-up scan is automatically placed in precisely the same location. Heidelberg Noise Reduction TM : Combines multiple scans taken at the same location and eliminates noise from the image. Six (6) imaging modes: Infrared, red-free, BluePeak autofluorescence, fluorescein angiography, ICG angiography, and spectral-domain optical coherence tomography. Nine (9) simultaneous imaging options: ICGA + IR, RF + IR, FA + IR, FA + ICGA, IR + OCT, RF + OCT, BluePeak + OCT, FA + OCT, ICGA + OCT. Multiple light sources available for different mode of eye imaging.
