- The purpose of this amendment is to provide responses to vendor questions. Response are in bold below. About the Infrastructure: How old is the facility? Is it similar to other LPOE facilities 5 yrs - no - not similar to LPOE facilities How many square foot is in the facility Approx.. 22,000 sqft How stable is the power Stable with generator How many employees does the current facility support 51 Is the ceiling dropped ceiling Yes Do we need to drill between the walls, in order to run our cable infrastructure No Do we need to use conduit? If yes what do you estimate the total conduit will be No Can you provide the address and a lay out of your facility 300 Airborne Parkway Suite 300, Cheektowaga NY 14225 Physical Access Control System (PACS): Are we to assume based on the SOW that there is a need for an access control server, if yes can you tell us if there is a preference with a brand for the server? No. Government may provide How many readers are to be installed None How many of those readers are to be installed in double exit doors None How many of those readers are to be installed in double doors None What type of locksets are there in your doors Not applicable Does your agency need to authenticate the CAK besides the CHUID or FASCN from the PIV Card, so it can comply with FIPS 201-2 Must be PIV compliant Does the contractor have to be a certified as a HSPD-12 by GSA approved vendor ? No preference For further information please refer to: https://www.idmanagement.gov/IDM/s/article_content_old?tag=a0Gt0000000Sfwh Does the contractor have to provide certified Security ICAM Engineers as recommended by GSA No We cannot find Andover Continuum in the APL list ( https://www.idmanagement.gov/IDM/s/article_content_old?tag=a0Gt0000000XNeT ) in the approved products, the listed products are approved by the General Services Administration; in order to provide full compliance with FIPS 201-2 and the HSPD-12 program. Can we provide an alternative approved product? No. The system must be Andover Continuum in order to communicate directly with the existing Andover Continuum systems throughout the region. Network and IT Security Is the system going to be installed in a secure network provided by the government No Do we need to be compliant to FICAM No How about Cyber Security, as you know back in march GAO came up with a report, in which it states that DHS and GSA Should Address Cyber Risk to Building and Access Control Systems, so is this task a responsibility of the security integrator? No If the answer is yes, are we to provide cyber security to the systems we are proposing? No. CPU and system will be standalone upon initial installation, BUT must be ready for near future connection to Ports of Entry and will require DSL server (provided by government) and firewall security (from vendor).
