Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is SEEKING SOURCES that are capable of relocating a XR 656 - Digital Radiographic System & Lunar iDXA - Bone Densitometer System, both manufactured by GE Healthcare. The Government INTENDS TO SOLICIT AND NEGOTIATE WITH ONLY ONE SOURCE under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i) for the uninstall, relocation and re-installation of the aforementioned systems. The intended source is GE Healthcare Bio-Sciences Corporation. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all responses received within 10 days after date of publication of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The above systems are being relocated from: 325 West Montgomery Crossroad, Savannah, GA 31406 The above systems are being relocated to: 1170 Shawnee St, Savannah, GA 31419. WE ARE SEEKING CONTRACTORS THAT ARE CAPABLE OF: a.Pre-inspection of systems and new site assessment: i.Contractor shall perform initial functional checks and appropriate software back-ups. The contractor shall immediately make known to the COR any system failures or noticeable degradation of components that could potentially impact the system's operation. ii.Contractor shall perform a pre-move site assessment of the new location and identify any issues in meeting the system requirements, including space, power, and network cabling. iii.Contractor shall provide equipment site drawings for the new location. b.Relocation of equipment: i.Contractor shall mechanically de-install and transport all system components to the new location. The contractor shall have the knowledge to safely and effectively relocate the equipment without damaging system components or altering settings. c.Reinstallation of systems: i.Contractor shall provide reinstallation of the systems in the new location by qualified personnel who are experienced in performing such work. The installation shall be performed in accordance with applicable GE Healthcare installation guides and project plans. ii.The contractor shall provide recalibration to system specifications, testing, and performance verification. d.The contractor shall perform the work required under this SOW between the time in which the Imaging Service closes at the existing clinic, and no later than one day prior to the opening of the Imaging Service at the new clinic. The projected period is April to June of 2016. All work is to be conducted at the Savannah Clinic, 325 West Montgomery Crossroad, Savannah, GA 31406 and the new building at 1170 Shawnee St, Savannah, GA 31419. The contractor is responsible for any anticipated travel and per diem. Travel will not be separated in any resultant solicitation or order. A FIRM FIXED PRICED solicitation and/or order is anticipated.
