- Contract Drawings (including location of project) THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE BEING RELEASED PURSUANT TO FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION (FAR) PART 36.213-2 PRESOLICITATION NOTICES. This Presolicitation Notice is issued solely for informational, market research, and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This Presolicitation Notice does not commit the Government to a binding contract. Further, the Government is not at this time seeking proposals, and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Presolicitation Notice. All costs associated with responding to this Presolicitation Notice will be solely at the responding party's expense. Not responding to this Presolicitation Notice does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Presolicitation Notice Objective: Per FAR 36.213-2, the purpose of this Presolicition Notice is to give prospective contractors advance notice of the US Forest Service's intention to issue a RFP for the replacement of a Lift Station on the Canoe Gulch Ranger District of the Kootenai National Forest. Description: The work generally consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the following major items: • Demolition and removal of the existing equipment within the wet well, the wet well lid and ancillary control equipment. • Installation of a new package lift station including an above ground valve vault, submersible sewage pumps, piping and ancillary control equipment. • Finish grading and reseeding of all areas disturbed during construction. • Installation of new wiring and conduit for new package lift station. It is estimated the solicitation package will be available approximately on February 29, 2016 and should be downloaded from this website at that time. No hard copies will be mailed out. Please check the website for amendments issued on this project. The work is estimated to begin May 1, 2016 and completed by July 1, 2016 which is approximately 60 calendar days. The construction magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. Point of contact is Estyn Kevitt, ekevitt@fs.fed.us, USDA Forest Service, Northern Region Acquisition Management, 3815 N. Schreiber Way, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83815. Location of Construction: The work shall occur in the areas as shown on the Drawings which are within the USFS's Canoe Gulch Ranger Station. Please see attached drawings to see a detailed map showing where this project will take place.
