- The 412th Test Wing Operating Location at Air Force Plant (AFP) 42 in Palmdale, CA intends to solicit and award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under USC 2304(c)(1); FAR Part 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii); Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Modular Space Corporation (Modspace), 1200 Swedesford Rd, Berwyn, PA 19312. The NAICS code is 321991. The following items will be procured: CLIN 0001: Qty (1) Modular Trailer 24x60 ft with handicap ramp & Optional 2-250 gallons septictanks (as is) CLIN 0002: Qty (1) Modular Trailer 60x60 ft with handicap ramp & Optional 3-250 gallons septictanks (as is) This sole source award is being made to Modspace to prevent a break in temporary office facilities usage at AFP 42. There are two trailers supplanted at AFP 42 that are being used as swing office for AFP 42 personnel. If new trailers are supplanted onto AFP 42, there is no office space or temporary storage available to house AFP 42 personnel during that transition. There must be no break in temporary office use that can impact mission operations. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. In addition, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e. Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12. Anticipated Award Date is 27 Feb 2016. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 10:00 a.m., Pacific Daylight Time, 19 Feb 2016. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within 7 days after the publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Facsimile responses are acceptable and must be received on or before the closing date. Telephone requests to be placed on a mailing list will not be honored.
