- Cylinder Gases This is a Sources Sought Synopsis. This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government from an ultimate acquisition approach. This synopsis should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for solicitation will not receive a response. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any input as a result of this market survey. The U.S. Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this market survey. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division is seeking potential sources capable of manufacturing and delivering the following cylinder gases: The following list is a sample list of cylinder gases that may be required. Ammonia Argon Air Hydrogen Nitrogen Oxygen Carbon Dioxide Acetylene Helium Nitrogen/Helium Compressed Gas Sulfur Dioxide Freon Ultra-Pure Nitrogen Ultra-Pure Hydrogen Ultra-Pure Oxygen Ultra-Pure Argon Liquid Argon Liquid Nitrogen Liquid Hydrogen Mixed Gases HPLC Acetonitrile Solvent Refrigerant 508B Refrigerant 404A BIP Hydrogen BIP Nitrogen BIP Argon Refrigerant R23 All interested sources must be located within a fifty (50) miles radius of The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division, Indian Head, Maryland 20640. In addition, the interested sources must be a cylinder gases authorized distrubitor that is able to provide and deliver the required product within ten (10) business days of receipt of order. All interested sources shall provide a company brochure or list of specifications, organization name, address, a point of contact, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, business size, taxpayer identification number, DUNS number, and CAGE Code.
