Description
CJ&A_14_23894 for Fibre Channel Network Switch (FCNS) Basic Ordering Agreement The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Air Combat Electronics Program (PMA 209), awarded a sole- source Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-16-G-0010 to Harris Corporation, 2400 Palm Bay Road NE Palm Bay, FL 32905-3377 for the procurement of hardware material, engineering and technical support for the Fibre Channel Network Switch (FCNS). This acquisition was pursued on a sole source basis under the authority of Title 10 U.S.C Section 2301(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." Harris Corporation is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of all FCNS. Harris Corporation is the only company that has the knowledge, experience, and technical data required to successfully deliver the FCNS system to meet the requirements of the F/A18E/F, EA-18G, and E-2D production aircraft deliver. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government.
