Description

This is PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE - The US Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN, hereinafter referred to as MVAHCS located at One Veterans Drive, Minneapolis, MN 55417. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 621111 with a size standard of $11 million. The VA will award a firm, fixed price, commercial services contract. Contract use will be limited to Minneapolis VA Health Care System only. The solicitation will contain requirements for a 6 - month base year with one (1) 6 - month option to renew. Service will begin April 01, 2016 through September 30, 2016 for the base year. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about 02-16-2016 and will be issued via FedBizOpps Electronic Posting System at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The Minneapolis VA Health Care System (MVAHCS), One Veterans Drive, Minneapolis, MN 55417, requires the (physician services) to serve as the Medical Director of the Vascular Radiology Laboratory at the MVAHCS. The contractor shall provide all materials, equipment and services required per this statement of work. The Contractor shall provide a Board Certified I (ACR and IAC) Radiologist to interpret ultrasound exams and perform Medical Director Duties for the Vascular Laboratory on site in accordance with the specifications contained herein to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Health Care System (MVAHCS). The VA Radiology Services follow the standards & guidelines set forth by International Accreditation Committee (IAC). A contractor providing onsite vascular lab services shall provide services that meet or exceed the IAC Guidelines. Services required include but are not limited to: The contractor shall provide all personnel necessary at contractor's site to support Radiology services in such number and level of professional experience as to assure continuity and level of quality required to maintain regulatory compliance. In addition, contractor shall have available at all times an adequate number of properly trained, boarded, and credentialed professional personnel to provide onsite services as necessary to support the VA facility mission.
