Description
The Social Security Administration (SSA) Region 10, Seattle, Washington Region has a region wide requirement for Secure Document Shredding Services for various locations throughout the states of Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, personnel, equipment, supplies, secured vehicles, materials and any other related services for shredding on-site and off-site at these various locations. SSA will award only one (1) firm-fixed price contract with a twelve (12) month base year period or less, and four (4), successive, one-year option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 562111. The size standard for this NAICS code is $38.5 million. This requirement will be procured on an unrestricted basis under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12- Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15.101.2. All parties interested in submitting an offer should download the solicitation from the FedConnect website at http://www.fedconnect.gov. We will accept all interested offeror proposal packages by email, mail or hand delivered. No fax proposals will be accepted or acknowledged. Prospective offerors must register in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for an award. Offerors must register with SAM at www.sam.gov and obtain a Data Universal Numbering System number (DUNS) and Tax Identification Number (TIN). All contractor personnel will have to undergo and meet the agency Security Suitability Requirements. No telephone, fax or email requests for hard copies of the solicitation or amendments will be accepted, provided or mailed. All technical questions will be accepted by email or fax. Questions regarding the solicitation are due by February 25, 2016, 2:00 pm (PST). There will be only one amendment issued in regards to the questions and answers ! received on this RFP an you can download the document from the Fedconnect website. We will not accept request for additional information received prior to the publication of the RFP. It is the responsibility of the interested party to monitor and frequently visit FedConnect to ensure that they stay abreast of the most current information.
