Description
SSF3237 Facility Access Form Department of Labor Wage Determination Request for Quote - HSSS01-16-Q-0030 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811310. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-86, effective January 1, 2016. The United States Secret Service (USSS) has a requirement for Vehicle Barrier Maintenance at the Naval Observatory Complex in Washington, DC. The Government intends to award a single competitive commercial Fixed Price/Time and Material hybrid type contract for the vehicle barrier maintenance. Contract award is intended to be made 90 days after release. Award will be made on a best value trade off basis. The resulting contract will be for a base period of one year and two subsequent option years. By submitting a quote, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Prior to the submission of quotes, a mandatory site visit will take place in order for offerors to gain visual knowledge of the vehicle barrier system. The site visit will take place at the Naval Observatory Complex on February 23, 2016 at 8:30 AM EST. A separate site visit for the vehicle barrier system located at the Logan Building will take place promptly after the Naval Observatory Complex visit is completed. Quotations will only be accepted from Offerors who attend the site visit in its entirety. Site Visit Facility Access Forms shall be submitted electronically to the Contract Specialist at gabriella.marino@associates.usss.dhs.gov NO LATER THAN February 18, 2016 at 2:00 PM EST. All questions shall be submitted in a word document and emailed to gabriella.marino@associates.usss.dhs.gov NO LATER THAN February 26, 2016 at 3:00 PM EST. All quotes shall be submitted in electronic format and email to gabriella.marino@associates.usss.dhs.gov NO LATER THAN March 9, 2016 at 4:00 PM EST.
