- THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION NOTICE Vendors should respond only if they can perform ALL parts of the requirement. Vendors should also be US owned. This is market research only. There will be no compensation for preparing and submitting information necessary for this market research. Air Combat Command Acquisition Management & Integration Center (ACC AMIC); Langley AFB, VA is in the process of performing market research on capable sources that can provide all personnel, supervision and any items and services necessary to operate an Internet-based Contractor Operated Parts Store (ICOPARS). The contractor shall furnish automotive and related vehicle parts, automotive chemicals, corrosion control materials, upholstery material, and accessories for approximately 5,500 vehicles/equipment located in the United States Air Force Central (USAFCENT) Area of Responsibility (AOR), which currently consists of: Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Bahrain, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Djibouti, Syria, and Lebanon. Specialized tools may be purchased under this contract when approved by the Contracting Officers Representative (COR). Services for repair/rebuilding/remanufacturing are not authorized under this contract. A draft Statement of Work (SOW) is posted with this notice to provide the size, scope and complexity of the requirement to interested parties. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 423110 (Motor Vehicle Supplies and New Parts Merchant Wholesalers). Due to the nature of this requirement and being overseas the Government does not anticipate a set-aside and will most likely be going full and open. The Government requests a capability statement in response to the attached draft ICOPARS SOW from any interested source/potential offeror. This information will be used only for market research purposes and will not be used as part of proposal evaluation later. This is not a formal Request for Proposal (RFP), and no contract will result from this notice. All documents associated with this projected requirement will be made available only on the FedBizzOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov. The Government plans to use the Internet and email as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information.
