- Description
- The Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast Guard, CG-9121, Formal Contracts Division I, intends to solicit and award on a sole source basis a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) single award contract to Hazelden Foundation. This requirement is to provide United States Coast Guard (USCG) Medical Officers specialized training (initial and refresher) in the fundamentals of substance abuse screening, assessment, diagnosis and treatment for the USCG Personnel. The substance abuse and screening, diagnostic, and clinical services are designed to supplement the Addiction Orientation for Health Care Professional Training mandated for all Medical Officers. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All information received within fifteen calendar day after the date of publication of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information received. Phone calls will not be accepted.
