Description
The US Department of State, Regional Procurement Support Office (RPSO) in Fort Lauderdale, intends to solicit offers for the commercial items and services described below in support of the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) in Mexico. SETEC Information Technology and Communications Infrastructure Project Work under this project supports the Government of Mexico's transition from an inquisitorial to an accusatorial legal system. The place of performance extends to all 32 states in Mexico. The contractor will be required to provide, deliver, install, integrate, and test a variety of communications equipment and IT hardware and software. Contractor will be solely responsible for all logistics and will likely provide training to host country personnel. All equipment must be provided with local (Mexico) warranty and support. Required components of the solution will likely include: • Desktop Computing Kit; • Database and Processing Kit; • Security Kit; and • Communication Kit The magnitude and scope of the work to be performed is preliminary in nature and subject to change. Actual requirements will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation is set-aside exclusively for competition among HUBZone small business concerns. Offers from other than HUBZone small business concerns will not be considered for award. The applicable NAICS code is 541519 (Information Technology Value Added Resellers) and the corresponding small business size standard is 150 employees. The Department expects to post a solicitation to FBO prior to the first week of March 2016. To be eligible for award, a prospective offeror must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM). Interested vendors should monitor FBO for additional information. No further action is required from interested vendors at this time. Questions will not be answered at this time.
