- Questionnaire Project Maps 374th Contracting Squadron, Yokota Air Base, Japan, is conducting a market research survey to identify the commercial practice for snow & ice removal and typhoon response services and to seek potential and eligible sources for these types of services in the Japanese market. We are contemplating to issue Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for Inclement Weather, Snow & Ice Removal and Typhoon Response Services for Military Family Housing and Yokota West & Mendel Elementary Schools at Yokota Air Base, Japan. The contract period will be five (5) years (basic plus four (4) option years). We desire to issue up to five (5) BPAs.　 The BPA calls will be placed to the contractor(s) for removal of snow/ice from all paved roads, road access to parking lots, sidewalks near housing's trash enclosures and school playground areas in Yokota Air Base, Japan (Service Period: 1 Dec thru 31 Apr) and for performance of typhoon response services in a manner that will ensure a safe environment on roadways, parking lots and sidewalks near housing's trash enclosures (Service Period: 1 May thru 30 Nov). Refer to the Project Maps for the areas of responsibility. Interested vendors are requested to fill out the attached questionnaire and email it to Mr. Ken Sato, Contract Specialist, by e-mail at ken.sato.jp@us.af.mil no later than 3 Mar 16, Close of Business. Interested vendors are encouraged to submit their contact information by registering as an interested vendor utilizing the Vendor Notification Service link within the Register to Receive Notification function of Fed Biz Ops https://www.fbo.gov/. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered and marked active in the System for Award Management (SAM).
