Description
The Department of State Regional Procurement Support Office in Fort Lauderdale, on behalf of the International Narcotics and Law Enforcements Affairs Section (INL) of the U.S. Embassy in San Salvador, El Salvador, intends to procure, on a noncompetitive basis with Ultra Electronics Forensic Technology,Inc. 5757 Cavendish Blvd, Suite 200, Cote St Luc, Quebec H4W 2W8 Canada. The NAICS code for this requirement is 334516 and the business size is 500. The equipment IBIS TRAX-3D System will be relocated from Brigada Especial de Seguridad Militar, Carretera Troncal del Norte, San Salvador, El Salvador to Divison de Armas y Explosivos (DAE) Final Avenida Peralta N 44, San Salvador, El Salvador, a distance of approximately 2.6 kilometers. The manufacturer will relocate the IBIS TRAX-3D equipment, including disassembly, packing, reassembly, and testing of the equiipment. Also to be procured from the manufacturer are equipment license updates, training and certification for 15 officers in the use of the IBIS TRAX-3D and two (2) years of the safe guard integral guaranty program for the system. The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide the service and training that will satisfy the Government's requirements. Any entity that believes it can meet the requirements described above may submit a capability statement via written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. No multiple awards will be made. To be considered, responses to this notice must be received by the Department no later than 2:00 pm local (Fort Lauderdale, FL) time on March 8, 2016. Responses and questions, if any, must be submitted via email to EllisKT@state.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted nor acknowledged. Any information submitted in response to this notice is strictly voluntary. The Government will not pay for costs incurred in responding to this notice.
